The Lynwood Unified community is invited to join the 11th Annual Arts Festival and District Showcase on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School, 5246 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Lynwood.
This free, family-friendly event will feature vibrant student performances, hands-on art activities, food for sale and community fun. Enjoy student exhibits from across the District, a special performance by Ballet Folclórico do Brasil and the culminating Conga Kids dance competition.
Attendees can also look forward to musical performances by middle and high school bands; exciting dance routines from Abbott and Will Rogers elementary schools, Hosler Middle School and Lynwood High School; and a special scene from Mean Girls Jr. presented by the Firebaugh High School Young Actors Guild.
