Please join us virtually for Lynwood Unified’s 7th Annual State of the District at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 4, to hear from Superintendent Gudiel R. Crosthwaite, Ph.D. about our District successes, opportunities for growth, and new milestones achieved by our students and staff.
The program – which will be live-streamed at lynwoodedfoundation.org – will feature our recent achievements, from the demolition of the Lynwood High School Imperial Campus classroom and facilities improvement efforts to our PBIS Award-winning campuses and California Model Schools. Entertainment will be provided by our afterschool folklorico students and a special guest performer.
The celebratory event will also highlight key aspects of the District’s new Strategic Plan, a dynamic roadmap that guides the District in its mission to Unlock Brilliance among all scholars while fostering a culture of excellence, equity, and empowerment.
This event comes ahead of Lynwood Gives, the Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation’s annual fall campaign, which raises donations to support college scholarships, teacher grants, science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs, and assistance for the Lynwood Unified Food Pantry. This year’s campaign will run from October 25 to November 1.
Please consider investing in the future of our Lynwood scholars by donating to the Foundation – 100% of the proceeds will go toward enhancing educational opportunities. For more information, visit www.lynwoodedfoundation.org.
